The journey creating 2169 Pandosy began more than a decade ago and has grown to become a passionate project for our entire team. Today reaching to the International Markets with speaking engagements and opportunities we have been touched by more inspirational stories.
It started when Alana Marrington began caring for her uncle, mother, and her friends such as Eva, as they moved through the medical system. As Alana slept on park benches between appointments, dealt with ill-equipped hotels, and struggled to find her mother the care and support that she needed, it occurred to her that there had to be a better way. This was the beginning of our journey at 2169 Pandosy.
Seeking the perfect location for what is sure to become one of the most innovative mixed-use developments in North America, Alana and her family began acquiring property next to the Kelowna General Hospital several years ago. After years of work, research, planning, and meetings with community stakeholders, 2169 Pandosy is set to revolutionize the way that we live and work.
Our 4-story building will offer 36 residential units in one of Kelowna’s popular neighbourhoods, just steps from the BC Interior’s largest healthcare centre. As a mixed-use development zoned HD-2, 2169 Pandosy may also feature medical offices and treatment centres, a cafe, mini-market or other complimentary services.
Years of research into the latest healthcare practices, construction materials, and technologies have informed the design and finishes at 2169 Pandosy. Our passionate team has sourced innovative finishes, products and design principles that work together to create a timeless, beautiful, low-maintenance environment for people. From remote keyless entry to anti-microbial finishes, purified air and luxury design features, 2169 Pandosy will change the way you live.
Through our research, we discovered Delos and the International WELL Building Institute, an organization that promotes the development of buildings that are designed with health and wellness in mind, in much the same way that LEED promotes environmentally-friendly development. 2169 Pandosy is one of the first projects in Canada to pursue WELL Certification and, upon completion, 2169 Pandosy will be one of the first WELL Certified mixed-use development in the country. We are members of the CaGBC and support the BLUE DOT movement.
